About This Retreat

Ten Days That Can Change Everything

In the ancient wisdom of the Shiv Sutras, Lord Shiva revealed to Sage Vasugupta the most direct path to liberation β€” not through complexity, but through the profound power of silence, awareness, and inner stillness. This 10-day retreat is a living expression of those teachings.

We live in a world of relentless noise β€” outer and inner. Stress accumulates. Emotions become entangled. The body forgets its natural intelligence. Relationships fracture. And somewhere, beneath it all, the true Self β€” pure, boundless, and silent β€” waits to be remembered.

This retreat is a complete journey of purification, healing, and awakening. Through a carefully woven blend of active and silent meditations, yoga, pranayama, dance, nature immersion, Satsang, and personal guidance, participants are held in a sacred container that allows the deepest layers of the psyche β€” and the body β€” to release, restore, and reconnect.

You do not need any experience. You need only one thing: the sincere longing to go within.

The Heart of the Shiv Dhyana Path

The Shiv Sutras teach that the Self is not something to be attained β€” it is already here, already whole. Our practices dissolve the veils of stress, conditioning, and unconscious emotion so that your natural state of bliss can shine through unobstructed.

Retreat Highlights

What Makes This Retreat Unique

Each element of this retreat has been carefully curated to take you layer by layer into the depth of your own being β€” gently, powerfully, and safely.

Shiv Sutra Satsang

Daily discourse drawing directly from Lord Shiva’s teachings to Vasugupta β€” the most essential and direct scriptural map of the inner journey ever revealed.

Purification & Detox

Systematic cleansing of body, mind, and emotional body through yogic shatkarma, breathwork, and conscious movement designed to dissolve deep-seated toxins and tensions.

7 Chakra Balancing

A dedicated module for each energy centre β€” understanding its nature, recognising its imbalance, and restoring its vitality through targeted meditation, sound, and movement.

5 Elements Harmony

Ancient pancha tattva practices that work with Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether to bring the body and psyche back into their original elemental balance and wholeness.

Dance & Active Meditations

Liberating dynamic meditation practices including Osho-style active meditations, ecstatic dance, and expressive movement β€” to let the body shake free what the mind cannot release alone.

Mauna β€” Sacred Silence

Extended periods of outer silence that create the inner spaciousness for genuine insight, deep meditation, and the experience of your own vast, quiet nature.

Healing Relationships

Guided inner work on healing wounds in relationships with self, parents, partners, and others β€” because our deepest knots are often relational, and silence is where they unravel.

Nature Immersion

Meditations in nature, barefoot walks, sunrise practices, and conscious connection with the natural world as the greatest teacher of stillness, impermanence, and presence.

“I came in carrying five years of burnout. By day three, something cracked open β€” quietly, without drama. By day ten, I was genuinely light. Not temporarily relieved β€” actually light. The Shiv Sutra teachings gave me a framework for what I was experiencing that I had never encountered anywhere else.”

“I was deeply sceptical of silence retreats β€” I thought it would feel like a punishment. Instead, silence became my best friend. The blend of active and silent meditations is brilliantly designed. The active work releases what the silent sitting then absorbs and integrates. I’ve done many retreats; this is the most intelligent design I’ve experienced.”

“The relationship healing module changed my relationship with my mother β€” and I didn’t even speak to her during the retreat. It’s astonishing what becomes possible when you stop trying to fix the outer and turn toward the inner. I returned home and, without any plan, three conversations happened that had been impossible for years.”

“As a psychiatrist, I approached this with clinical detachment. The science of what these practices do to the nervous system is extraordinary. But beyond the science β€” I had experiences in the silence that no amount of medical training prepared me for. I left a different person. I now recommend this retreat to select patients.”

“I flew from Germany for this retreat having read about Bliss of Enlightenment online. My Hindi is non-existent β€” I was worried about the language. But truth has no language. The teachings, the meditations, the silence β€” they transmitted something that bypassed the thinking mind entirely. One of the most significant ten days of my life.”

“The chakra balancing module alone was worth the entire retreat. I had known about the seven chakras for years intellectually. Here, I felt them β€” the blockages, the release, the opening. The practice on the heart chakra on day six β€” I wept for two hours and felt completely cleansed. Nothing I can write here does justice to what this retreat offers.”

Who Should Attend

This Programme Is for You If…

Do I need any prior experience in meditation or yoga?

No prior experience is required whatsoever. This retreat has been carefully designed to be fully accessible for absolute beginners while simultaneously offering genuine depth for experienced practitioners. What matters is not your background β€” it is the sincerity of your intention.

Is the silence absolute? What if I need to speak?

Outer silence is maintained during meditation periods, meals, and designated silence hours. You may speak with facilitators at any time for support, guidance, or practical matters. The evening Satsang also provides space for questions and sharing. The silence is held gently β€” it is a practice, not a punishment.

What language are the teachings in?
Teachings are delivered in both Hindi and English. All written materials are bilingual. International participants need not worry β€” the essence of these teachings, and the practices themselves, transmit beyond language.
Can I join if I have a specific health condition?
Many people with health conditions benefit enormously from this retreat. However, we ask that you disclose any significant physical or mental health conditions during registration so we can assess suitability and make appropriate accommodations. Some conditions β€” such as acute psychosis, recent heart surgery, or active suicidality β€” may require postponement. Please contact us and we will guide you personally.
Can I use my phone during the retreat?
Phones, laptops, and digital devices are surrendered at the start of the retreat and returned at the close. This is a non-negotiable aspect of the experience β€” the digital disconnection is itself a profound practice and essential to the depth of the retreat. In genuine emergencies, facilitators will assist with necessary communication.
What food is provided? Are dietary needs accommodated?
All meals are freshly prepared sattvic vegetarian β€” no onion, garlic, meat, eggs, or alcohol. Common dietary requirements (gluten-free, allergies) can be accommodated with prior notice. The diet is specifically chosen to support deepening practice and a settled, clear mind.
What happens after the retreat ends?
All participants are welcomed into the Bliss of Enlightenment post-retreat community β€” a private online group for continued support, sharing, and guidance. Monthly integration Satsangs are available online. Many participants return for subsequent retreats and describe the post-retreat period as one of rich inner continuing.
Is there any physical fitness requirement?
No specific fitness level is required. The yoga practices are accessible and offered with modifications. The retreat is not physically demanding β€” the primary invitation is inner, not athletic. Anyone in reasonable general health who can sit, walk, and engage in gentle movement is welcome.
How do I register and what is the cancellation policy?
Registration is completed online through our website. A deposit of β‚Ή5,000 (or $100 for international participants) confirms your place. The remaining balance is due 21 days before the retreat begins. Cancellations more than 30 days before the retreat receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations within 30 days may be transferred to a future batch. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
How do I apply?

Applications are accepted through our website via an online application form. Selected applicants are invited for a brief personal interview to understand their background and intention. Once accepted, a deposit secures your place in the batch. Seats are strictly limited to maintain the integrity and intimacy of the programme.

The Journey of a Thousand Miles Begins with a Single Step

Seats are limited to preserve the sacredness and depth of each batch. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Do not wait for the perfect moment β€” the moment you are ready, the path reveals itself.
